Raspberry Pie Recipe (This recipe is originally from my husband's grandmother)
Cut 4 Cups of flour with 2 1/2 cups of shortening. Once flour and shortening are cut together, add 2 teaspoons vinegar. Crack one egg into a cup measure and fill the remainder of the cup with water. Mix the water/egg mixture with flour/shortening mixture. Refrigerate overnight. Roll dough out with flour to make crust.
Fill pie dish with raspberries mounding slightly over filling the dish to measure. Put berries into bowl. Add one cup of sugar. Add 4 tablespoons of flour. Mix and set aside.
Place the crust in the pie dish and fill with raspberry mixture. Cover with crut and sprinkle sugar on top.
Put the pie dish on the baking sheet to catch spillover. Bake @ 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Turn oven down to 350 and cook approximately 30 minutes (keep an eye on it during this time.)
